Five
Quiet
Minutes

A prayer guide for tired moms
@dailyprayer.mom
New every morning
Before you begin
For the mom
running on empty.

You don't need one more thing to do. This isn't that. It's five minutes to set down what you're carrying — before the day asks for everything, in the middle when you're stretched thin, and at night when it finally goes quiet.

Three moments. A verse. A short prayer. You can whisper it while the coffee brews or the baby sleeps. God isn't grading you. He's just glad you came.

Start wherever you are today. Even one of the three is enough.

Morning
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning.
Lamentations 3:22–23
A prayer to begin
Lord, before my feet hit the floor — thank You. Whatever I got wrong yesterday, Your mercy is new this morning. Go before me today. Carry what I can't.
One small breath  ·  name one thing you're grateful for before you pick up your phone.

Midday
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
A prayer to pause
Jesus, I'm tired and it's only halfway. I don't have to hold it all. I hand You the morning and the list still left. Steady my heart for the hours ahead.
One small breath  ·  unclench your shoulders. Inhale for four, exhale for six.

Night
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me to dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:8
A prayer to rest
Father, the day is done and I did what I could. What I left undone, I leave with You. Quiet the replay in my mind. Watch over the ones I love while I sleep.
One small breath  ·  set down one worry on purpose. It will keep until morning.

When the day is heavy
A verse for the
hardest hours.
When you're anxious
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7
He can carry what's too heavy for you. Hand it over — you weren't built to hold it alone.
When you're worn out
They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.
Isaiah 40:31
Your strength runs out. His doesn't. Rest is not quitting — it's how you're refilled.
When you're overwhelmed
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psalm 61:2
You don't have to rise above it alone. Ask Him to lift you to steadier ground.
